The brilliance of Nagesh Kukunoor with the combination of Naseeruddin Shah and Shreyas Talpade together formed one of the best Bollywood films. The low budget of this film was never going to be an obstacle in its box-office success and critic appreciation.
Kahaani was a big success and the story was loved by many. A powerful performance by Vidya Balan made this film a hit at the box-office and the character played by her in this film was highly praised as well.
No One Killed Jessica (2011)
This film is based on Jessica Lal’s murder and the trial that followed. Despite of the low budget that the film had, it managed to win great appreciation and did exceptionally well at the box office.
Pyaar Ka Panchnama (2011)
This film was one of the best comedy films of 2011 with a tangy twist to it. The film presents real-life situations and shows how messy a relationship can get.
