Samantha Ruth Prabhu & Naga Chaitanya’s Wedding Pictures Are Giving Us Wedding Goals

Well-known southern actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who have been in a relationship for nearly seven years, tied the nuptial knot on Friday in Goa at a ceremony amidst their families and close friends. Born and raised in Chennai to superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna and Lakshmi Daggubati, 30-year-old Naga Chaitanya went on to study at Trinity College, London.

He debuted in 2009 with Josh, for which he won the Filmfare Award South for Best Male Debut. His second film, however, is the one that got him critical acclaim. Ye Maaye Chesave, on the sets of which he met Samantha and soon they fell in love.

It was a two-day affair, which saw Sam and Chay get married twice – in Hindu and Christian ceremonies. The family has been sharing some of the best moments from both ceremonies on social media.

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu got married according to Hindu rituals in Goa. The couple was all smiles during a ceremony involving ‘Haldi’ (turmeric).

Nagarjuna shared these beautiful pictures on Twitter and wrote, “Some more #chaisam happiness!! So beautiful❤️❤️❤️.”

“The shot of yesterday. @allenjz freezes this ephemeral moment of emotion. As I said yesterday, real moments are always more timeless than posed portraits. And this moment right here is why we shoot weddings. The one where emotion overwhelms the bride, Samantha, and happy tears flow between the many many happy smiles, ” the photographer said.

The couple then got married in a Christian ceremony on Saturday. They looked extremely beautiful, the groom in a black suit and the bride in a white gown.

Naga Chaintanya puts a ring on Samantha’s finger. The couple had got engaged in January earlier this year.

As the custom goes, the bride and the groom say ‘I do’, promising to be together forever. The actress captioned one of her pictures as ‘Mrs.Akkineni ❤️’

Samantha shared this beautiful picture on Instagram after the completion of the ceremony. The couple is also set to have a reception in Hyderabad.

The bride also shared few of the pictures –

I love you my forever ❤️❤️❤️ #chaysam
