Vintage Ads Bollywood Celebrities Do Not Want You to See
Before they got famous, Bollywood celebrities starred in television commercials. It was the era of the 80s and 90s and these celebs looked very different. Some of these ads might make you cringe, if not have your jaw drop with shock. But if these ads affect anyone more than you, it’s the celebs who starred in them. They don’t want you to see these ads, but here they are – only for your entertainment!
1. The Pepsi commercial starring Aamir Khan and Aishwarya Rai
While Mr. Perfectionist is on a roll now, we are not sure he made the right choice back in this old Pepsi ad with Mahima Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rai with its soft porn background music and theme.
2. Deepika Padukone in a Close-Up toothpaste commercial
Have you wondered the secret to Deepika’s million-dollar smile? Now you know the answer. We hope the actress’ laugh in real life is not as fake as the one in this commercial here:
3. Priyanka Chopra promotes Josco Jewellery
PeeCee would not want her Hollywood fans to watch this one! Before Bollywood, PeeCee tried to make a mark down South, and we kind of understand why that didn’t work out.
4. Cinthol commercial starring SRK and Gauri Khan
Ever fantasized about watching the King of Bollywood take a bath? You won’t anymore after watching this ad, starring him and wife Gauri. It is the worst thing SRK has been in after Jab Harry Met Sejal.
5. Shahid Kapoor Ala Re Ala
We are uncertain which decade Shahid shot this commercial in, but we are quite sure the Backstreet Boys poster in his room is a clue. So is the rockstar look put together for him!
6. Salman Khan short role in a Limca commercial
In Salman’s list of crimes (allegedly) committed, this one comes in third. He wears short shorts and does a wide split, in what is the worst thing to ever be shown on live television.
7. Ranbir Kapoor’s Virgin mobile commercial with Diana Penty
Not only is Ranbir trying to hit on Diana in a lift, he gets all his friends to encourage him as well. If there is one word to describe him in this ad, it is plain CREEPY!
