8 Bollywood Celebrities Who Became Parents Without Marriage
Marriage is a life long commitment and having a baby is known to strengthen the bond even more. According to our Indian society, marriage is mandatory for having kids but B-town, like a rebel, has always kept themselves above these societal norms and proved that marriage is not really necessary to have kids. There are Bollywood celebrities who conceived before marriage and got married, and there are more who took the responsibilities of a parent without marrying anyone. Can you think of any names? If no, here we have a list of eight of them:
Sridevi, now the mother of two beautiful girls, is probably the only one to accept that she was pregnant before her marriage. Jhanvi Kapoor is Boney Kapoor’s and Sridevi’s love child who was born a few months after they got married.
Sarika and Kamal Hassan were living together while Sarika had a baby and she has grown up to be the stunning Shruti Hassan. The couple got married later and Akshara was their second child.
The list doesn’t include only women. There are a few men who took the bold decision to be a single parent through surrogacy. Tusshar has a baby boy Laksshya and the Kapoor family has welcomed their new generation with open arms.
Karan Johar who has been single for a long time now finally announced in February that he is blessed with twins. The kids were born through surrogacy and he has registered their names as Roohi and Yash.
Neena Gupta’s daughter Masaba Gupta is the love child of Neena with cricketer Viv Richards. Neena Gupta brought up Masaba as a single mother in the time when being a single parent was not as cool. What a badass!
Sushmita has always been an inspiration for women in India, be it by becoming Miss Universe or by keeping away the ties of marriage and adopting her daughter. She has adopted two daughters and internet keeps giving us the sneak peek of the good times they spend together.
We always hear about Rahul’s dedication towards charity, especially for under privileged kids. He has also adopted six children from the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. All of them are studying in Andhra Pradesh.
Raveena Tandon took the responsibilities of being a mother at a very early age. She adopted two daughters of a distant cousin when they were going through a financial crisis. She was just 21 years old at that time.
Three cheers for all of them who stayed bold and lead their lives the way they wanted to.
