1. Agrasen Ki Baoli, Delhi
Remember the personal hiding space of PK in Delhi? The place is actually a step well, listed as one of the haunted places in Delhi and is a quaint Baoli near Connaught Place. Usually filled with a handful of people, we have no idea how PK managed to live all alone here at night!
2. Hadi Rani Ki Baori, Rajasthan
Remember the mesmerizing step well where Rani Mukherjee has her first encounter with a ghostly presence in the movie Paheli? The place is Hadi Rani Ki Baori in Toda Rai Singh, Rajasthan. The place is rumored to be the haunted as it is the resting place for many warriors in the history and hence seems to be the perfect location for the scene in Paheli!
3. Chain Bridge, Budapest
Yes, this is the bridge where Sameer (Salman Khan) kept shouting ‘Nandini’ in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. It is also the same bridge where the last scene of the movie where Nandini (Aishwarya) accepts Vanraj (Ajay Devgan) and chooses him over Sameer!
4. Pangong Tso, Ladakh
The last scene of 3 Idiots, where we find Pia (Kareena Kapoor) finally riding her scooter to propose Rancho (Aamir Khan) is Pangong Lake in Ladakh. Almost 60% of this lake lies in China. This spot was also shot in Jab Tak Hai Jaan when Anushka Sharma jumps into the lake to take a dip!
5. Chittorgarh Fort, Mewar
The world heritage site became the beautiful backdrop of an iconic scene in the film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani where Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor) enjoy a sunset with Naina (Deepika Padukone). We hope to see the same in the upcoming movie, Padmavati, as this is the place where the historical events took place.
6. DC-3 Plane Wreck, Iceland
‘Gerua’ song from the movie ‘Dilwale’ was shot at one of the most haunting and iconic sites in Iceland. In 1973 a DC-3 plane was forced to land at the Black Sand Beach and since then the wreckage of the plane remains a tourist spot!
7. Fort Chapora, Goa
Remember the iconic shot from Dil Chahta Hai? Well, location is Chapora Fort in Goa and since the movie, the shot has become a memorable moment for every friend group trip to Goa.
8. Waddesdon Manor, England
The Raichand House mansion in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum is Waddesdon Manor in the city of Buckinghamshire. The mansion is completely spectacular and there is no way this cannot be on your bucket list if you ever visit England.
9. Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur
Did you too wonder about what the spot where Aamir Khan and Sharman Joshi end up taking a bet of finishing the beer in Rang De Basanti was? The very song where ‘Paathshaala’ was shot is Nahargarh Fort in Jaipur!
10. Doraha Fort, Ludhiana
Another gemstone of a location was again given by Rang De Basanti, the place when Soha Ali Khan is proposed by the love of her life and we get to listen to ‘Tu Bin Bataye’ song. We found out the place for you and it is Doraha Fort near Ludhiana!
