This was supposed to be Irrfan Khan’s first movie to be released in the theater, however, his role was edited out from the final cut of the movie.

Private Detective: Two Plus Two Plus One (1997)
This mystery thriller was directed by Rajat Kapoor and stars Alyy Khan, Kashmira Shah, and Keneth Desai.
Khan had started working in international productions in the early 90s itself: In 1994 he had appeared in an Indo-German short film, The Cloud Door. In 2001 he appeared in Asif Kapadia’s The Warrior and achieved international recognition.
The movie released in 2002 saw Irrfan Khan play the role of a dacoit-turned-godman.
The movie also starred the then-struggling actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Ek Sham Ki Mulaqat
This was a TV show which aired in several parts on Star Plus. It was directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
