5 Social Media Posts That Prove Anurag Kashyap is Indian Cinema’s Brand Ambassador
All of us have been privileged to witness Anurag Kashyap‘s journey from a maverick young director to one of the greatest filmmakers in the history of Indian cinema. In fact, it is also the story of mainstream Bollywood’s evolution from its candy floss sensibilities to realistic, gritty human dramas. But Kashyap’s contribution to Indian cinema doesn’t end there. His repertoire as a screenwriter and producer is as immensely significant as his directorial ventures and puts him in a league of his own among contemporary filmmakers. The man who once said that cinema is the only religion he believed in has done and achieved so much through his exemplary passion and commitment to the craft that he has himself become a messiah of all good cinema in the country, irrespective of language and regional barriers.
Here are some instances where Kashyap’s great love for cinema earned him his de facto title as the brand ambassador of Indian cinema.
